Overview

At Rising Rides, we want you to feel confident in your purchase. As a licensed NSW motor dealer, we comply with the Motor Dealers and Repairers Act 2013 (NSW) and the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). This means every eligible vehicle comes with a statutory guarantee to give you peace of mind.

Statutory Warranty (Form 5)

Which vehicles are covered?

  • Passenger vehicles (including 4WDs and light commercials up to 4.5 tonnes GVM)
  • Less than 10 years old and with under 160,000 km at the time of sale

How long does it last?

The warranty applies for 3 months or 5,000 km (whichever comes first) from the date of delivery.

What’s included?

If a fault exists at the time of sale, or arises during the warranty period and makes the vehicle unroadworthy or unfit for normal use, Rising Rides will repair it for you at no cost. Repairs will be carried out within a reasonable time to get you back on the road.

What’s not covered?

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Tyres, batteries, globes, fuses and other consumables
  • Damage caused after delivery through misuse, neglect, accidents, or modifications

Your Consumer Rights (ACL)

In addition to this dealer guarantee, the Australian Consumer Law protects you. You may be entitled to:

  • A refund or replacement if your vehicle has a major failure.
  • A repair, refund, or replacement if the vehicle doesn’t meet acceptable quality standards.
  • Compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a major failure.
