Power comes from Toyota's legendary 1KD-FTV 3.0L common-rail turbo-diesel (D-4D) — the variable-nozzle, intercooled workhorse famous for 400,000km-plus service lives on basic maintenance, and proven across HiAce, Prado and HiLux. It's paired with a 4-speed automatic and factory full-time 4WD, with a factory-raised 4WD chassis that sits approximately 25mm taller at ride height than the 2WD equivalent. No AdBlue required.
The fit-out is built for real travel: reversible captain-style seats that rotate to face a dinette around a removable table, then fold flat into a comfortable double bed.
